ST PIRAN’S FESTIVITIES 2009

ANNUAL ST PIRAN’S FEAST 2009             PONSMERE HOTEL,  PERRANPORTH

            WEDNESDAY  4th  MARCH

7pm for 7.30pm

.

Our traditional Feast Dinner this year will take place on the eve of St Piran's Day, (or St Piran's Eve) once again, at The Ponsmere Hotel,Perranporth
The usual entertainment will be drawn from the talent in our midst so DO bring your harp to our party, we  are  bound to ask you to play!

The 2009 ’Piranner’ festivities will again this year, span a long, feast fortnight, (see details below, on the www.an-daras.com or in ‘Cornish World ’magazine).

If all this is TOO much, just try a relaxing  evening (or extend it to the week-end)  at The Ponsmere, with its splendid acres of beach just below and where a more fitting a place is there to go to for the celebrations of the The Feast of St Piran?  We are lucky to be able to return to the Ponsmere after the superb event there last year, since happily, demolition has passed it by, at least for the moment.

Please  note  the change of DAY  from the week-end to mid-week, in fact to St Pirans Eve   due to clash of meeting dates for Lorient Festival, where, Neil & I annually fight the corner for Cornwall.

Dinner guests are invited to stay overnight, or extend their stay to enjoy 'Pirantide' celebrations across Cornwall from the 5th to the 8th March, if a minimum of 10 rooms are booked.

Special tariff: £28 per  person /per night (B&B)

Book directly with the Hotel. Phone: 01872 572225   (quoting St PIRANS FEAST/Beatrice)

Click here for a booking form for the dinner.  Act NOW to secure your place.
